The Perfect Four Season Slouch Hat
Taos Slouchys are uniquely comfortable hats made from fine quality sock yarns, heavier weight wool blend or acrylic yarns for those allergic to wool. Sock yarns are quite expensive, so why use them? Sock yarn is washable, super strong yet soft, with elastic qualities which allow an adjustable and more comfortable fitting hat which drapes beautifully. Your Taos Slouchy is my own design, made to fit comfortably snug in the band to keep from slipping, with plenty of room to breathe and accommodate even the longest hair. You can gently stretch the slouch part of the hat if desired for an even roomier fit. When the band starts to get a bit loose, just throw it in the wash! Taos Slouchy slouch hats are machine washable in cold water and dryable on low heat, and when properly cared for, will last through many years of daily wear.

The 98% cotton blend hat is perfect for even hot weather. I wear mine on 90+ degree days without discomfort. The superwash Merino wool blend hat is perfect for both warm and cool weather. I wear mine on all but the very hottest and coldest days. Merino wool is known for its wonderful softness and washability, and 25% nylon insures that your Taos Slouchy slouch hat will fit beautifully for years.
