Handcrafted jewelry inspired by nature
Designer and owner Kevin Greten opened Sanibel Goldsmith in September of 1995 with the goal of becoming a complete jewelry source by providing the best possible service and quality. As a resident of both Sanibel Island, Florida, and Taos, New Mexico, Kevin finds inspiration for his designs in the natural world around him. Sanibel Goldsmith handcrafted jewelry is inspired by the wonders of life on the beach and on the high desert plateau of the Southern Rockies.

You can see the influence of the local environments in the expert workmanship of Sanibel Goldsmith custom designed jewelry, displaying iconography of these areas. Spirals and suns, dolphins, fish, lily pads and more are finely crafted in yellow, white, rose, or pink gold. Kevin is currently working on more Taos inspired designs, which will be added to the website in the near future.

The finest quality materials and workmanship
Sanibel Goldsmith carries 14, 18 and 24 karat gold jewelry, which is meticulously finished to the highest standards. These high standards of quality enhance the beautiful designs provided by Mother Nature, the ocean, and the desert. Sanibel Goldsmith looks forward to delighting you and your loved ones with gifts from the high desert and Rocky Mountains, the islands, and the sea.

Designs iconic to the high desert landscape of New Mexico are meticulously crafted and finished in yello, rose, pink and white gold. Here are the sun and moon in white and yellow gold and a spiral sun glyph pendant.

A beautifully detailed sun face pendant on a stunning gold wire spiral necklace in yellow gold is displayed with turquoise beach glass pendant and earrings, overlaid in a gold spiral glyph.
